Simple Pleasures: A Prettified Keyboard

Given that my Macbook Pro is still going strong at 5 years, I don't have much to complain about. However, my keyboard was definitely showing the effects of time, with various letters being quite worn.

After hunting around on Etsy, I came across these gorgeous washi-tape inspired keyboard decals from Keyshorts.

They were very forgiving to apply and while I was worried that they would bother me while typing, I find that I actually like the way that they make the keyboard feel.

Another fun thing is that they came all the way from Poland! So expect a little bit longer wait to get them (though not too bad...mine came in about 2 weeks, which compared to 2-day Amazon shipping seems like a lifetime, but they were definitely worth the wait.)

The best thing is that they make me smile every time I open my computer. And any excuse to smile is good! I find that lately, I am making more of an effort to appreciate little things in my life that make me happy.

So what little thing of beauty have you added to your life recently?
